We use a variety of dental technologies in our downtown Edmonton office to serve you. Here are a few of the different devices that you may see us use in our office.
Intraoral cameras are small cameras that can fit inside your mouth. They provide high resolution images that assist us in diagnosis and also allow you to see your teeth and any existing dental work.
Digital X-rays replace the film used in traditional X-rays with digital processing. They use less radiation than traditional X-rays and produce high resolution images that can be viewed and processed on a computer screen.
Panoramic X-rays are a digital X-ray system that takes an image of your whole jaw. They assist in the detection of infections, diseases and tumours.
DIAGNOdent uses laser technology to scan the surface of your teeth for early signs of decay that are not visible to the naked eye.
The diode soft tissue laser is used to make precise incisions in soft tissue such as your gums. Incisions made with the laser heal quickly with a reduced risk of infection.
